Digital Library Services

Through HEC Digital Library, CMH Library has online full-text access of research journals and magazines.

The library website provides a comprehensive gateway to a wide range of library materials, both online and in print. It is a primary source for information about library collections, services and facilities. User self-sufficiency and ease of access are promoted by designing a single, coherent, remotely accessible service.

Wi-Fi

Wireless connectivity to internet is available on both floors of the library. Patrons can use their laptops/notebooks with build-in wireless adapter to avail this server.

Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) Services

A Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) service keeps users updated with new additions to the library collection.

Book Lending Service

All registered users are entitled to borrow one book for a period of 14 days. For further details inquire at the circulation desk for your eligibility.The library material can be borrowed from 8.00 am to 9:00 pm, during working days Monday to Friday.

Reference Services

“Reference Services” is defined to include the professional advice and assistance provided by the library staff, from material in the library’s collections or elsewhere, to assist individuals using the library or online to meet their information needs.Library staff provides efficient and reliable reference services to its patrons. The users can make queries and get assistance regarding library resource and services. The help desk and reference services can be obtained from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Information Literacy Sessions

The CMH LMC Library conducts information literacy sessions commonly known as user education for students, faculty and staff, and orientation sessions for all new classes of medical college, School of Nursing  Users can attend these sessions or walk-in-training for use of the library resources and services.

Bibliographic Services

Library offers users access to up-to-date information on books. Subject bibliographies can be obtained on request. We can also provide information on USA, Pakistan and British publishers and on the availability of British and American books in Pakistan.

Reservation

Any book in the catalogue can be reserved by any user. The user will be notified when the book is available / returned.

TOC Services

Library provides its users electronic table of contents service. Users can submit their queries related to library material like journals, books & articles also.
