Dr. Ahmed Waqas
Dr. Ahmed Waqas (MBBS, FRSPH) is a recent graduate from CMH Lahore Medical College (2015). He is a prolific author of over 50 publications in internationally indexed journals. He is also one of the youngest Pakistani fellows of the Royal Society for Public Health in the UK and a finalist for BMJ awards for excellence in mental health in South Asia. He is the CEO and founder of VR Therapeutics; an organization aiming at developing virtual reality based psychological therapies for the mentally ill. He is also currently serving as associate editor at the BioMed Central Journals.
He has a good experience in conducting workshops on research skills and mentoring of medical students.
